Instagram won't show stories to a logged-out visitor at all, so this needs an account on our side — and it challenges the ones used this way. The tool works right up until the account is flagged, which is not something worth shipping. It's off until it can run without one.

No, and be sceptical of anything claiming otherwise. Private stories are only visible to approved followers, and no tool changes that without credentials.

Yes. Highlights don't expire, and they list exactly like stories do.
Either the account is private, it has no active stories, or Instagram is rate-limiting our server. Each gets its own message rather than a generic failure.
